My husband just forwarded me this article he found about a Realtor in England. The agent was showing the house to his clients and found the owner had hung himself in the walk-in closet in the master bedroom! It was the first showing for the home, which was priced at about 350,000 pounds, or $700,000. The house had been on the market for about a week when a Realtor showing clients around made the gruesome discovery.
This is not the first time I have heard stories like this. It has happened in Wisconsin too, and I heard a similar story during Real Estate training, about a seller who had hung themselves in their basement, although I did not find proof online. When I started finding stories of REALTORS found dead in homes, I stopped reading. YIKES!
